During my work in the NHS and local authorities I often felt my role restricted according to how they are commissioned and that meant I couldn’t use my skills or develop them in the direction I am passionate about. It’s not a criticism at all, the NHS can only do so much with the resources they have and I know (as do you) what a superb job they do every day. Having been lucky enough to work in a dedicated communication aid service, I was really keen to keep using my skills and broaden them to beyond communication. Then I just couldn’t get the idea out of my head. I kept meeting highly motivated families that wanted just a little more than what the NHS could provide. Having worked for years in the NHS and Local Authorities, my aim is to not repeat work that is already being done, but to help fill the gaps. So here I am, ready to meet you and get you set up on your technology journey.
